1. Invited talk:

 "Conductor's Gestures and Performance Rendering"

In this talk she presents musical analyses and interpretations of a noted conductor’s gestures. The analyses were enabled by computer vision techniques that tracked the position of the conductor’s right hand from a video sequence. The resulting output of the hand tracking system, when combined with beat and tempo data from the audio signal, provides numerous possibilities for analyzing the conductor’s gestures and expressive techniques. She describes the stages of the video and audio processing, and present her analyses of the conductor’s movements.
